Assembly Instructions:

PLEASE NOTE: The floor is already assembled and is at the very bottom of the package.

ALSO NOTE: If you purchased the EZ‐Skid runners, install these before you begin assembly of your coop.

Use the provided heavy duty screws to fasten EZ‐Skid runner brackets to the 4x4" skids.

Step 1. Begin by fastening the rear wall. Wall is same length as the floor and should be flush at both ends.

Fasten from outside of siding into floor joists with nails and from bottom plate of wall down into floor joists with 3" screws.

Step 2. Fasten the front wall in the same way.

Step 3. Place the right sidewall into position and fasten to front and rear walls and to the floor.

Step 4. Place the left sidewall into position and fasten.

Step 5. Place rafters 24" on center and fasten from bottom of plywood top‐plate up into the rafter.

Step 6. Keep roof sheathing flush with the peak of the rafters and fasten both front and rear roof sheathing.

Step 7. Gable end ("Barge") trim is installed at the factory.

NOTE: There will be a gap between roof sheathing and barge…this will get covered up by the drip edge and shingles.

Step 8. Fasten front and rear facia trim into the heel of rafter.

Step 9. Slide nesting box into place and fasten from inside.

Step 10. Chicken roost is a 2x3"x the length of building. Place the roost on edge and fasten on both ends.

Chicken roost should be approx 18‐24" off the floor.

Step 11. Install alum. dripedge around the perimeter of the roof.Install bottom row of shingles with tabs pointing upwards as an underlayment row.

Step 12. Continue by installing shingles from right to left. Shingle tabs are 12" wide. Offset each row 6".

Step 13. Once both sides are shingled, cut remaining shingles into 12" tabs to use as ridgecaps.

Install corner trim, chicken door and chicken ramp. If you have an outside run fasten it using the provided hooks and eyes.
