It is estimated that clinical mastitis, widely considered to be the most expensive preventable cost to the dairy farmer, can cause up to $100 per cow per year in lost productivity. Traditional teat dipping has been proven to reduce incidence of mastitis in dairy herds, and a combination of pre- and post-dipping is the first line of defense against lost productivity and profits.
The New Ambic Power Foamer represents a new era in mastitis control and economy. The simple and durable foaming mechanism creates rich consistent foam which, when applied to the teats, continually wets the teat with fresh active chemical as each foam bubble bursts. This method of application results in more visable coverage, extended teat contact, and reduced chemical usage. In fact, this completely original design can generate teat dip savings of 20% or more when used correctly.
The complete unit consists of three foam applicators with retractable, high-memory flexible air coils, a compressed air regulator, approximately 100 ft. of tubing, and fittings. Spare parts and extra applicators sold separately.
