    We have tremendous water pressure. All plastic connections pop apart or break when the float stops the out flow. Are these brass connections? Steel will just corrode to the aluminum and be worthless too soon.

    What Center to center dimensions of the attached hanging brackets? What are the dimensions of the unit.
    We have a Quiet Aire 18" humidifier. Is this the original float for that unit?
