The Grain Moisture Detector is now improved with a powerful micro-controller circuit for increased data processing capabilities. Accurate information about moisture content is critical for optimal harvesting and marketing and for cost-effective use of ventilating and grain-drying equipment. Sample cup is filled with grain sample (three or four grams is sufficient). Electrode handle is turned and tightened down until data appear in the readout. No additional equipment, such as a scale or grinder, is necessary for grain testing, but optional accessories may be added for checking moisture in hay or where a small sampling is not feasible. The G-7 may be calibrated for many different crops of grain, seed, beans, corn or rice and will store up to 150 accumulated readings in user-defined batches by grain. It may be set for automatic or manual temperature correction. The display will show average and highest readings, standard deviation and co-efficient of variance of stored readings. A built-in calibration check assures accuracy and reliability. The G-7 has a moisture range of 6% to 40% and is powered by one 9-Volt Alkaline battery. The unit is a compact 7-1/4" by 5-1/2". One year Warranty. Wt. 5 lbs.
