    Does this unit also cool the milk? I saw a You Tube video where someone used this machine to heat milk to pasteurization levels but then took the heated milk and cooled it in a separate container submerged in an ice bath, which seems to defeat the purpose... please clarify, thank you!

    Thank you for your inquiry. The P3000 SafGard pasteurizer does include a built‑in cooling phase. After pasteurization is complete, the unit uses its sealed water‑bath system to cool the milk, typically reaching safe storage temperature within approximately one hour.
