    Are these feed buddy bins anchored to cement? Do the larger bins have a built in ladder?

    Thank you for your questions. They are not designed to be anchored to cement (most customer use them for indoor use), but you could anchor them if you wanted to. They do not come with a ladder, but the braces between the legs serve the same purpose.

    What gauge of metal is used for the feed buddy bins? What is the size of the fill opening on top? Are the raw materials used to construct these bins sourced 100% in the USA? Can you add or email to me additional pictures of the fill and dispense sections. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

    The thickness of the aluminum is 1/16". It is referred to as "060" aluminum.
    The fill openings for the 400 size and the 500 size are as follows:
    400 = 24" deep x 24" wide
    500 = 24" deep x 30" wide
    All of the components of the bins are 100% made in the USA except for the nuts and bolts.
    We are working on obtaining more images. Thank you.

    Is there a video of how it is operated?

    We're sorry. We don't have a video. There is a slide gate at the base and it is a simple hand operated slide. You pull it out to open the flow of grain/feed and push it back in to stop the flow.

    Can you feed horse alfalfa cubes in it?

    Alfalfa cubes will likely clump up at the slide gate dispenser, so we don't recommend it. The bin can certainly store them, but dispensing them through the slide gate will likely not work very well. You'd have to scoop them out manually. Thank you.
