How difficult is this to assemble and put up? Does it need multiple people, and does it need heavy equipment for assembly and placement? Also, is there a recommended base for placement?

    Thank you for your inquiry.
The Mini Bin 1.6 Ton is designed for relatively easy assembly and placement. It does not typically require heavy equipment for installation. However, due to the size and weight of the components, we recommend having 2 people available for assembly to make handling the panels and positioning the bin easier.
A forklift or similar equipment is generally not required but may be helpful if you are placing the assembled bin in a specific location or if you need to move the bin after assembly.

I am sending the assembly instructions and a video of th assembly to the email you provided.

Is there any information on weather proofing there for outside use?

The Mini Bin is weather-resistant but is not fully sealed against moisture.

It is constructed from premium galvanized steel, which helps protect the stored contents from moisture intrusion. However, it is specifically designed for storing dry, flowable feed, meaning users should ensure the contents are dry before placing them inside. Unfortunately, At this time, we do not have specific weatherproofing information or recommendations for additional sealing or modifications.

Can you send pictures and measurements for the legs/feet to understand how to anchor the bin to the ground or a slab to handle high winds in outdoor storage? Also can you provide any information on weatherizing it for outdoor use?

Please send a picture of the grain fill and the handle/valve used to open and close. I was also wondering if any of the components are made from plastic as we have an incredible population of critters.

Hello. Everything on these bins are stainless steel. The slight gate is just a flat piece of steel with a lip that slides back and forth.
