Can you feed horse alfalfa cubes in it?

Alfalfa cubes will likely clump up at the slide gate dispenser, so we don't recommend it. The bin can certainly store them, but dispensing them through the slide gate will likely not work very well. You'd have to scoop them out manually. Thank you.

on your feed buddy bins, would it work for chicken feed and keep it from getting damp or moldy?

The feed buddy feed bins are designed to protect its contents from the elements and can be placed indoors or outdoors. The biggest consideration would be the average humidity in your area. Although the bins are waterproof, areas with very high humidity can result in a reduced "shelf life" of the feed.
