Shipping and Assembly:  Bins ship completely UNASSEMBLED via freight truck.  Please be sure that a freight truck has access to your location. Your order will be delivered with complimentary LIFTGATE delivery service. Please make sure that the area where the delivery driver will deliver your order is open and provides plenty of clearance for the freight truck.  If you have any specific delivery instructions or a certain day of the week that you'd prefer to have your order delivered, please let us know in the "Additional Information" section when checking out.  Please be aware that because this product ships completely unassembled, you will need to completely assemble the bin and attach the legs and ladder. If you have questions about assembly prior to ordering, please email us at [email protected] and we can email you a copy of the assembly manual.

Can this grain bin hold heavier material like sand, as long as you stay below the weight limit?

Yes, it can hold and dispense sand, as long as the sand is completely dry and free flowing. And you are correct, it is advised to stay below the weight limit. Thank you.

What is the smallest auger you can use and how long can the auger be?

Unfortunately, we don't carry any augers and don't have the direct answer to your questions. All we can tell you is that the transition piece will allow you to attach a rigid or flex auger.
