    How much vacuum before the hose starts to become flat?

    Standard milking system vacuum is 12–15 inHg (sometimes 16–18 inHg in high-line systems).
    At those levels, this exact tubing (8V-100BL) stays perfectly round with zero deformation
    Full vacuum rated to 29.9 inHg at 70 °F (68–73 °F room temperature)
    → This means it will NOT flatten or collapse even at a perfect/near-perfect vacuum under normal dairy barn conditions.
    Begins to show slight ovaling or flattening only above 28–29 inHg and usually only if the temperature is 100 °F+ or the tubing is very old/brittle.
